Julie A. Risselman, CPA - Senior Manager, Accounting & Auditing Department

Julie moved to Jacksonville and joined Swindell, Bohn, Durden & Phillips, PL in August 2018 as a tax manager. Capitalizing on her experience, Julie transitioned to accounting and auditing manager in August 2020.

Julie has a diverse tax and audit background, ranging from corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, not-for-profit organizations, and individuals to compilations, reviews and audits. Her client experience includes industries such as agriculture, construction, gas stations, medical offices, rental real estate, and not-for-profit organizations.

Julie worked in the private accounting sector in Ohio before transitioning to public accounting in 2003 practicing in both Arizona and Texas before moving to Jacksonville.

Julie graduated from Union College in Barbourville, Kentucky with a double major earning Bachelor’s degrees in both accounting and business administration. Julie is a certified public accountant licensed in Indiana and Florida. She is a member of the AICPA and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Outside of the office, Julie enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, exercising, and volunteering to help animals.
